My every day accessories

I love jewellery, I’ve got a full drawer in my wardrobe dedicated to statement necklaces and earrings and alltherings. But, I’m lazy. I’ve come to accept it. The last thing on my mind in the morning is changing up a pairing of earrings or trying on a few necklaces to see which works.

And so I’ve come to love my staples. The pieces that I wear day in, day out and don’t need to give any thought to. It’s easy to pick up the odd necklace here and there in a Topshop sale but I actually don’t tend to wear those purchases much at all. My favourites are always the ones that you spend a little more money on but then they last and last. and last.

My selection is a little close knit family that consists of two different sets of hoops and two simple necklaces. Plus my watch. Obvs. And a hair clip if I’m feeling particularly wild. I think because of my nose piercing additional jewellery can quickly start looking excessive so, as always, I’d rather keep it simple.

You just can’t go wrong with a simple short gold chain necklace. I love pairing them together for a slightly bulkier look, or worn alone they’re the perfect simple addition to an outfit. The little triangle is from Posh Totty Designs and the drop tusk is from Orelia.

My go-to earrings of choice are these two sets. Little gold drop dagger hoops from Missoma and these diamond huggie hoops from Orelia. Both are gold and so I just leave them in for ages at a time. I love how they work together, simple but interesting.

And then now and again when I remember and can be bothered I love a little cheeky hair accsessory. This clip is super easy to wear and jazzes up a greasy, day 3 hairstyle.

And that’s it. Just a few simple pieces that I can rely on to be there for me through the tough times. Okay, a bit dramatic, but you get me.

Big love x
